Welcome to the billing guide for EarlyAI Pro! This document explains how to upgrade to the Pro plan, what to expect during the billing process, and how to manage your subscription effectively.
Upgrading to EarlyAI Pro
Upgrading to EarlyAI Pro is a simple process designed to get you started quickly:

Upgrade Button in the Extension

Within the EarlyAI extension, click the "Upgrade to Pro" button.

This will redirect you to the product pricing page, where you can view the Pro plan benefits.

Subscription and Payment

On the pricing page, locate the Pro column and click the "Subscribe" button.

You’ll be redirected to a secure Stripe billing page (hosted on the StartEarly domain).

Enter your payment details and complete the purchase.

Activation Confirmation
- After payment, you’ll see a confirmation message:
“Thank You for Upgrading to EarlyAI Pro! Your subscription has been successfully activated.” - Reload your IDE to fully activate the Pro features.

Receipt
- A receipt for your purchase will be sent to your email within one hour of the transaction.
Billing Details
Payment Timing
- Initial Payment: Your payment is processed immediately upon subscribing.
Example: If you subscribe on January 20th, the charge is applied on January 20th.
Recurring Billing
- Your subscription renews monthly, and subsequent charges occur on the same date each month.
Example: If you subscribe on January 20th, your next charge will be on February 20th.
Invoice Delivery
- An invoice is sent to your email within one hour of completing a transaction.
Billing Reminder
- Three days before your next billing period, you will receive a reminder email notifying you of the upcoming charge.
Managing Your Subscription
To manage your subscription, follow these steps:

- Open the EarlyAI extension and navigate to the web profile page.
- This page provides access to subscription management and other account-related features.

Updating or Canceling Your Subscription
- On the web profile page, click the "Update" button.
- This will redirect you to the Stripe-powered customer portal.

- In the customer portal, you can manage your subscription, including:

Cancellation
- If you choose to cancel your subscription:
- Your Pro license remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Example: If you cancel on January 25th and your billing period ends on February 20th, you’ll retain Pro features until February 20th. - After the billing period ends, your plan will revert to the Free tier.
